No injuries reported in Ann Arbor house fire

A fire heavily damaged a home in the 800 block of East Kingsley Street in Ann Arbor on Wednesday afternoon.

Ann Arbor firefighters arrived around 3:30 p.m. to find flames had engulfed the porch and front of the home. Nobody was injured, according to a news release.

The home had multiple apartments with 11 tenants, who have been relocated.

Firefighters knocked down the flames in about 15 minutes. The fire caused an estimated $60,000 in damages to the home, and $10,000 in damages to belongings inside the home.

The cause of the fire was being investigated.
